Why I Teach:
If I can make a difference in the life of one child in my career, then it would have all been worth it.

Graduated Marian Catholic High School (Chicago Heights, IL) in 1991
Graduated Augustana College (Rock Island, IL) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in 1995
Graduated Governor’s State University (University Park, IL) with a Masters in Education and Language Arts in 2000
Where I have lived:
I have lived in Illinois and Texas.
My Professional Experience:
I taught 3rd grade at St. Jude Catholic School (South Holland, IL)
from 1995-2001. I taught 3rd grade at All Saints Catholic School
(Dallas, TX) from 2001-2008. I have been teaching 3rd grade at St.
Joseph Catholic School from 2008- present.
My Family:
My parents are still married and happily retired in Florida. I have
a brother, sister-in-law, one niece, and one nephew living in Illinois.
I have a cat named Harley.
Something you might not know about me:
I have been best friends with the same person since I was three
years old. We grew up together in Illinois and now live 15 minutes away
from each other here in Texas.
My prayer for my students:
O Lord God,
School is not always easy,
And some days, it is very difficult,
and I struggle to relax and be at peace.
Yet I know that you will give me
patience, wisdom, and courage,
to be excellent in every way,
and you will help me love others,
