Welcome to St. Joseph Catholic School! Our school is a vibrant, diverse community in which Catholic faith, academic excellence, and service to others are part of the everyday educational experience!
My name is Fran Thompson, and I am honored to be the principal at St. Joseph Catholic School. I have served in the Diocese of Dallas as principal, assistant principal, and teacher since 1984. I am passionate and enthusiastic about Catholic education, and I have been a student, a parent, and a staff member in the Catholic school system all my life. Because I have experienced where they are and where they are going, I bring a unique set of skills and strengths to share with the staff, students, and parents of our school community.
Our Principal

Fran Thompson
In addition to supporting our teachers and staff as we strive to fulfill the mission of St. Joseph Catholic School, I have been charged with the tasks of working with our School Advisory Committee to create a long-term strategic plan for the school, as well as planning to increase enrollment. I am also involved in supporting the creation and growth of an endowment fund for our school. I am dedicated to continuing and creating more opportunities for tuition assistance, and I have a special focus on support for those children with mild to moderate learning differences at SJCS.
I am always available to give a tour and consult with families regarding education at St. Joseph. If you are interested in a Catholic education for your child or grandchild or want to see our facilities, please call the school office at 972-234-4679 or contact me at school@sjcstx.net.
Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you enjoy exploring all that St. Joseph has to offer! Please contact me at fthompson@sjcstx.net with any questions about our school community. We are proud of our accomplishments as we guide our students to "Love to learn, Learn to live, Live to lead."
Thank you,
Fran Thompson
