The PSIA Mission:
To inspire private, parochial, charter, and homeschool student achievement
through academic competition.
PSIA General Information:
PSIA (Private Schools Interscholastic Association) celebrated its 20th anniversary year with the 2017-2018 school year. Through this organization, our students are able to compete at the District Meet and advance to the State Meet. Additionally, any eighth-grade student who has won at least one gold medal (first place) at State, and competed in PSIA for at least three years, may apply for an academic scholarship through PSIA.
With 19 contest categories covering a wide range of disciplines, PSIA provides an exciting opportunity for private school students in grades 1 through 8 to engage in academic competition with their peers throughout the state of Texas. PSIA remains the most comprehensive academic extracurricular program in the nation for students in grades 1-8.
