Instructional Program

Our standards-based curriculum meets or exceeds the requirements set forth by the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department (TCCED), and the Texas Education Agency (TEA). We follow the Saints and Scholars Curriculum Standards developed by the Diocese of Dallas to ensure alignment with Catholic identity and academic excellence across all core content areas.

Students

In Kindergarten through 2nd grade, early literacy is supported by Super Kids, a research-based phonics and reading program that builds a strong foundation in decoding, fluency, and comprehension. Mathematics instruction follows Progress in Mathematics by Sadlier, aligned with diocesan standards and enhanced by multi-sensory manipulatives to support diverse learners. Instruction is carefully designed to help students develop conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Students

In the elementary and middle school grades, our curriculum remains rigorous and standards-driven. Middle school students are offered a challenging core curriculum that prepares them for high school success. Language Arts focuses on both literary analysis and effective writing. Math students have the option to take either Pre-Algebra or Algebra I, depending on readiness. Social Studies and Science emphasize research, inquiry, and integrated writing assignments to promote academic depth. All students attend weekly enrichment classes in fine arts, technology, physical education, and foreign language.

While we do not currently offer AP or dual credit courses, our academic structure ensures students are well-prepared for those opportunities in high school through a strong foundation in core content, Catholic values, and 21st-century skills.
